Processing Group for Divorced Parents - VIRTUAL

 

An ongoing ,virtual group for divorced and separated parents to process their experiences and emotions with one another

Start date: Mid-September.

Frequency: Fortnightly (every other week)

This group will support single parents who have experienced divorce or separation, and who are looking for a sympathetic, non-judgemental and productive atmosphere to vent, be witnessed, and seek support. This group will be focused on, though not exclusive to, members of the East Bay Jewish community. The group will be capped at 6 participants, and facilitated by Noah Phillips, ASW, under the clinical supervision of Rebecca Fox.

Topics will include:

  • Solo parenting

  • Conflict, communication, and coparenting with former partner

  • The stigma and shame associated with separation

  • Community inclusion

  • The impact of separation on living a religious life.

Cost: There will be a limited number of slots at different rates to accommodate different incomes, but prospective members should anticipate a range of $35-65 per 60 minute session.
