Individual counseling

We all suffer, and we all seek to alleviate our suffering. Psychotherapy can’t address all forms of suffering, but it can help us identify areas where we’re stuck, both within ourselves and in our relationships. You or your child might be facing an acute concern because of a major life transition—whether it be divorce, the loss of a loved one, or something similar. Or, you might be facing chronic stress relating to finances, challenges at work or school, or simply the state of the world. Sometimes people can’t really figure out what their problem is, they’re just suffering.

All of these reasons are valid, and all of them are workable.

In therapy, Noah uses a grounded, compassionate and creative approach that seeks to address not only your suffering, but perhaps to reframe the meaning you make out of it. Using attachment theory, timeless spiritual insights, the imaginal realm of archetypes and dreams, and a smidge of common sense, we’ll explore your psyche together.

With your own values as our compass, we’ll find a way to the other side, charting a map as we go.

Noah offers the tools of art therapy to all of his clients, adult and child. When requested, Noah is glad to offer “assignments” to better infuse the insights we discover into your everyday life, where they belong.

Noah’s standard fee for individual counseling is $160 per 60 minute session. However, Noah offers a limited number of lower-cost spots for people with limited means.
